Privacy — private beta, May 2026
What we collect. What we don’t.
What Huginn is
Huginn is a real-time AI search-and-rescue tool for RTMP-capable consumer drones. It is in private beta with select volunteer SAR teams, fire departments, and sheriff’s offices. This page describes what we collect from you when you use it.
What we collect
When you request beta access we keep your email address and the time of the request. When you use the product, your team’s sessions store the drone video frames you ingest, the detections we generate from them, and the operator account that ran the session.
Server logs record IP addresses and user-agent strings for security and abuse purposes. They are rotated and discarded.
What we do with it
We use your video and detections to do the thing you asked us to do: find people. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train external models. Detections from your sessions stay attached to your team.
We may use anonymized, aggregated detection metadata (counts, latency, model agreement) to improve the system.
What we don’t do
No third-party trackers. No analytics scripts. No cookie banners because there is nothing tracking you to consent to. No advertising IDs. No selling of any data, ever.
Where it lives
Application servers run in the United States. Video objects live in object storage; account and session metadata live in a managed Postgres database. Vision calls that go to Anthropic’s API are governed by their policy — those frames are not used to train Anthropic’s models.
Your data, your call
You can ask us to delete a session, an account, or your whole team’s data. Contact us and we’ll do it within seven days.
